About Me
ATTN: Citizens of Holmes County,
I am Gregory Washington, candidate for the office of Circuit Clerk. I am a graduate of Durant High School, where I graduated Valedictorian of my class. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry and a Master of Arts in C & I: Chemistry Education from Xavier University of Louisiana. I also hold a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from Jackson State University in Education Administration and Supervision.
I, currently, serve as Principal, TEC HOUSE, at Starkville High School, where I was chosen as the 2022-2023 Administrator of the Year by my colleagues. As a lifelong resident of this county, I have seen firsthand the importance of having knowledgeable and dedicated individuals leading our county in various capacities. I am running for Circuit Clerk because I believe it is time for a new voice and fresh perspective in this office.
My professional background and deep commitment to this community make me an ideal candidate for the position of Circuit Clerk. I bring to the table a wealth of experience in managing complex administrative tasks, as well as a deep understanding of the important role that Circuit Clerk plays in our county's judicial system. If elected, I will work tirelessly to ensure that our courts run smoothly, efficiently and effectively.

S.T.E.A.M.ississippi specializes in designing and teaching project-based activities and providing hands-on learning to Expose, Inspire and Engage students in grades K – 12.
